the oonu ai assistant is no longer maintained
Maybe you use your phone. Maybe you carry a pen and paper. Maybe you have an excellent memory. However, I bet that this week you’ve already forgotten something you meant to remember.
Moreover, I bet you remember writing something down, but now cannot find that piece of information anywhere.
I’ve been searching for a better way to assist my memory for a long time, but never stuck with any of the countless things I tried. Then, I built oonu.
oonu is a AI powered personal assistant that is competent with notes, reminders, events, and lists.
This assistant is reached through the small device, but can also be used through the web interface.
Visit oonu.ai to see for yourself!
If you ever doubted your ability to build something because you don’t have all of the right tools, just remember that I build fully functional surface mount circuit boards in my studio apartment with a soldering iron (TS100), a hotplate (MHP30), tweezers, and a tube of solder paste. No stencil, no reflow oven, no professional tools, and no professional training.
In 2020 I cooked my first circuit boards in a cast iron skillet on my parents’ stove. You can do this too!
(but I recommend a soldering iron and real hotplate)
Another * Mckelvey * innovation: using painters tape to hold down the circuit boards when hand soldering. Yes, I do have a soldering clamp. No, it is not better than tape.
